When to install a prosthetic bridge?

The prosthetic bridge is being installed when there’s a tooth or teeth lack and the conditions preclude implantation.

What are the necessary steps before the application of the bridge?

  1. The endodontic treatment of the pillar teeth.
  2. The post and core installation.
  3. Polishing the pillar teeth.
  4. Taking the impressions.
  5. Cementation of the bridge.

How long does it take to install the bridge?

After the microscopic root-canal treatment  it takes about 2 weeks to manufacture the bridge.

Will I have to live with a cut and polished tooth before the prosthetic bridge is ready for installation?

Absolutely not. We provide temporary crowns in our clinic.

Is the bridge installation painful?

No, the procedure is being performed with anaesthesia.

What is the role of dental prosthetics?

The dental prosthetics restores the initial occlusal conditions.

What is the difference between a bridge and an implant?

The crown substitutes for one tooth and the bridge at least for three teeth.

What is the porcelain margin in the bridge?

It’s a method of porcelain layer firing in a way which doesn’t expose the metal base of the bridge.

Is it necessary to enforce the tooth with glass fibre before the installation of the bridge?

It all depends on the tooth tissue amount, but usually – it is.

What is the difference between a bridge and an implant?

The bridge is supported with pillar teeth and the implant substitutes for a single missing tooth, without the necessity of polishing the adjoining teeth.
